Method/Rules for Scheduling a RideTCATA Red and Blue Route riders who wish to request a pick up between scheduled stops must call 269-927-4461 to request the deviation in advance. Let the driver know your drop-off location as you board the bus. Otherwise, scheduling is not necessary for boarding at scheduled stops.
For those who need to use TCATA complementary paratransit (TCATA Access), call the TCATA Access line at (269) 927-2268 to schedule your ride. Go to TCATA Access for more information about TCATA’s complementary paratransit service.

Operating Area
Twin Cities Area Transportation Authority (TCATA) has several fixed routes in Benton Harbor, St. Joseph, and Stevensville areas. TCATA will also “flex” the route, or drop off passengers at specific locations that are along the route, instead of at a bus stop.

Paratransit/Reduced Fare Eligibility
TCATA Red and Blue Routes deviated fixed route service provides complimentary paratransit service (TCATA Access) for persons with disabilities who, because of a disability, cannot use the existing deviated fixed-route service. Berrien Bus, Buchanan Dial-A-Ride, Niles Dial-A-Ride, and Twin Cities Area Transportation Authority (TCATA) all participate in the Universal Reduced Fare Card program.
TCATA Red and Blue flexible route reduced fare eligibility is determined by filling out the Universal Reduced Fare Card application, which requires either proof of Social Security Disability, Medicare, or a physician or agency caseworker certification.
Transit Service Accessibility
TCATA Red and Blue Route vehicles are lift/ramp equipped. TCATA Access paratransit is available for those unable to board at/get to fixed stops.
Additional Notes
TCATA Users who need door-to-door/curb-to-curb service may also use TCATA Demand Response service.
