Hours of Operation
  • Monday – Friday: 8:15 am – 4:00 pm
  • Saturday: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm (local limited service)

Dispatch/Ride Reservation Hours:

  • Monday-Friday: 9:00 am – 2:30 pm

Return/Cancellation:

  • Monday-Friday: 7:30 am – 5:00 pm
  • Saturday: before 8:00 am
Method/Rules for Scheduling a Ride

Call 248-652-4780 Monday-Friday between 7:00 am and 8:00 pm, or Saturday between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm to schedule your ride.

Rides must be scheduled at least 4 days in advance. (7-14 business
days is recommended). Non-medical Saturday appointments must be
scheduled between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm.

For return rides and cancellations, call 248-608-0296 Monday-Friday 7:30 am –  5:00 pm. For weekend cancellations, call 248-608-0271 before 7:30 am on Saturday.

Door-to-door, shared ride transportation anywhere in Rochester, Rochester Hills, or Oakland Township, as well as medical facility locations in Auburn Hills, Troy, and Sterling Heights.

Eligible riders:

  • must live in Rochester, Rochester Hills, or Charter Township of Oakland
  • must be age 55 or older, or have a disability if under 55
    • people under 55 may also qualify if they have a doctor’s statement and are unable to drive

Fares

Standard Fare

$2.00 each way

A caregiver/aide may also ride with you for a required fee of $2.00 each way.

How to pay:

  • Pay exact change or a token to the driver
  • Use cash, check or credit card at the OPC Cashier Counter. ($20 for 11 tokens)
  • Pay $20 cash or check to driver for a packet of 11 tokens
  • Mail a check to: Cashiers, 650 Letica Dr., Rochester, MI 48307 (Memo line-include bus tokens/rider name). Tokens will be mailed to you or delivered by a driver.

Reduced Fare

This service is only provided to those aged 55 or over, or that have a disability if under age 55. Therefore, there is no reduced fare for this service. All eligible riders pay the standard fare of $2.00 each way.


Accessibility & Eligibility

Paratransit/Reduced Fare Eligibility

This service does not have complementary paratransit because it is a door-to-door, advanced reservation service, not fixed route. This service is only available to ages 55 and older, or people under age 55 who have a disability or are unable to drive. There is no reduced fare for this service.

Transit Service Accessibility

This is a door-to-door service and vehicles are lift equipped for wheelchair or other mobility device users. This service is accessible to individuals with disabilities.
