People’s Express has collaborated with Livingston County Essential Transportation Services (LETS) to address the transit needs in the county, with special attention given to those who live in rural areas.

Fares

Standard Fare

1. In-bounds destinations: destinations that are within Green Oak Charter Township (outlined in blue on the interactive map).

One-way trip: $2.00

2. Out-of-bounds destinations: destinations located outside of Green Oak Charter Township (outlined in blue on the interactive map).Trips will have a flat fare rate until leaving the boundary, where an additional fare will be applied per mile.

One-way trip: $2.00 flat fare + $2.50 per mile

3. Residents of Centennial Farm and Centennial Village: A specialized fare is offered to the residents of Centennial Farm and Centennial Village traveling to the city of South Lyon (outlined in red on the interactive map).

One-way trip: $3.00

4. Specialized destinations: A specialized fare is offered to the residents of Green Oak Charter Township (outlined in blue on the interactive map) who would like their destination to be in one of the following cities (outlined in red on the interactive map):

South Lyon: $5.00
Ann Arbor: $10.00
Ypsilanti: $10.00
Novi: $10.00

Reduced Fare

1. In-bounds destination: destinations that are within Green Oak Charter Township (outlined in blue on the interactive map).

Adults aged 55+: Free
People with disabilities: Free

2. Out-of-bounds destinations: destinations located outside of Green Oak Charter Township (outlined in blue on the interactive map).Trips will have a flat fare rate until leaving the boundary, where an additional fare will be applied per mile.

Adults aged 55+: Free + $1.25 per mile
People with disabilities: Free + $1.25 per mile

Reduced fare not offered for Residents of Centennial Farm and Centennial Village or specialized destinations. All riders pay regular fare for these trips. (See 3 and 4 under regular fare).

Accessibility & Eligibility

Paratransit/Reduced Fare Eligibility

This service does not have complementary paratransit because it is a curb-to-curb, demand response service, not fixed route. Most PEX buses and vans are lift-equipped and they all meet ADA requirements. Lift-equipped vehicles will be made available to those who need/request them.

Seniors 55 and older and persons with disabilities are eligible to pay a reduced/discounted fare for PEX rides. Contact PEX at 877-214-6073.

Transit Service Accessibility

This is an advanced reservation, door-to-door/curb-to-curb service. Lift or ramp equipped vehicles are available for persons with disabilities or mobility challenges who need them. PEX provides accessible transportation service that is also open to the general public.
