Method/Rules for Scheduling a Ride

Call 989-345-5790 to schedule.. Riders must provide their name, pick-up location, destination, phone number, and
appointment time. People can book their ride “any time”, however, due to the large area of service, OCPT recommends booking rides between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. OCPT may be unable to accommodate ride requests in outlier areas (outside West Branch) if not enough notice is given. Recurring (“reservation”) rides that occur on the same days/times may be scheduled without having to call to schedule each time.

Standard Fare

Adults (16-59)

  • Inside city limits (City of West Branch): $1.50
  • Outside city limits (City of West Branch): $1.50 + $0.10 per mile

 

Reduced Fare

Seniors (60+) and Persons with Disabilities:

  • Inside city limits (City of West Branch): $0.75
  • Outside city limits (City of West Branch): $0.75 + $0.5 per mile

Children (15 and under):

  • Inside city limits (City of West Branch): $1.00
  • Outside city limits (City of West Branch): $1.00 + $0.10 per mile

Infants ride FREE

Accessibility & Eligibility

Paratransit/Reduced Fare Eligibility

This service does not have complementary paratransit because it is a curb-to-curb service, not fixed route. Lift-equipped vehicles are available for wheelchair and other mobility use riders.

Reduced fare rates are accepted for Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities, however, there is no formal application. Riders may submit paperwork, such as a government issued disability benefits letter, or contact OCPT for questions about reduced fare eligibility.

Transit Service Accessibility

This is a curb-to-curb service and lift-equipped vehicles are available for wheelchair and other mobility equipment user riders. This service is accessible to individuals with disabilities as well as open to the general public.
