Operating Area
All of Clinton County with regular service connections to Ingham and Eaton Counties.
My Blue Bus also has a Community Connections program that allows riders to request rides outside of normal service hours and operating area, to Gratiot, Ionia, and Shiawassee Counties, and “in some instances even further.”
Fares
Standard Fare
Adults (ages 18 – 59):
City Fare (pick up/drop off within the city limit of cities of Dewitt or St. Johns): $2.00
Non-City Fare (pick up/drop off outside of city limits/rest of Clinton County): $3.00
Out of County Fare (pick up/drop off outside of Clinton County in Ingham or Eaton Counties): $4.00
Reduced Fare
City Fare (pick up/drop off within the city limit of cities of Dewitt or St. Johns): $1.00
Non-City Fare (pick up/drop off outside of city limits/rest of Clinton County): $1.50
Out of County Fare (pick up/drop off outside of Clinton County in Ingham or Eaton Counties): $2.00
Available for:
- Person with a disability, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
- Veteran
- Senior (age 60+)
- Youth (Under 18 years of age)
Eligible Aides to passengers with a disability ride free, per the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Children 4 and under ride free when accompanied by an adult. Limit 1 free, accompanying adult per infant (4 and under).

Paratransit/Reduced Fare Eligibility
My Blue Bus service does not have complementary paratransit because it is a curb-to-curb, demand response service, not fixed route. Lift/ramp equipped vehicles are available and accessible to wheelchair users or other mobility device users. Please notify the dispatcher if lift/ramp vehicle is needed.
Seniors and Veterans may present some type of applicable identification to receive reduced fare. Individuals with disabilities may call My Blue Bus at (989) 224-8127. if they believe they qualify for disability reduced fare. My Blue Bus will create a profile by asking a series of questions related to their disability in order to ensure they qualify for reduced fare and that they have the accommodations needed to use My Blue Bus service. There is no print/electronic application to qualify for My Blue Bus disability reduced fare.
Transit Service Accessibility
My Blue Bus service is a curb-to-curb, demand response service. My Blue Bus vehicles are lift equipped and accessible to wheelchair users or other mobility device users. It is accessible to individuals with disabilities as well as being open to the general public.
