DATA Flex Routes – Escanaba and Gladstone/Escanaba

- Gladstone/Escanaba Coordinated Demand response Route/Shuttle: Runs hourly between Gladstone and Escanaba from 9 am – 5 pm, Monday-Friday. Click here for more details.

DATA uses a priority system for ride reservations. Rides will be reserved based on the following:
- Priority 1- Subscriptions/recurring rides.
- Priority 2- Rides reserved 24+ hours in advance.
- Priority 3-Rides reserved at least one hour in advance
- Priority 4-On demand, rides reserved less than one hour in advance.

Standard Fare
Escanaba Route:
- Up to 5 miles: $2.00
- 5 to 10 miles: $4.00
- 10 to 20 miles: $6.00
Gladstone/Escanaba Coordinated Demand Response Route/Shuttle:
$4.00 each way
Reduced Fare
Escanaba Route:
- Up to 5 miles: $1.00
- 5 to 10 miles: $2.00
- 10 to 20 miles: $3.00
Gladstone/Escanaba Coordinated Demand Response Route/Shuttle:
$2.00 each way
Reduced Fare available for:
- Seniors (60+)
- Persons with Disabilities
- Students K-12 and College Students (to and from school only)
- Veterans (with proper ID or DD-214)
Children under the age of 5 ride free when accompanied by a fare paying adult.

Paratransit/Reduced Fare Eligibility
This service does not have complementary paratransit because it is a door-to-door, flexible route service, not fixed route. Many DATA vehicles are lift equipped and accessible to wheelchair users or other mobility device users. Please notify the dispatcher if lift/ramp service is needed.
Seniors, Veterans, and Students with valid IDs may receive reduced fare rates by showing applicable identification. Individuals with disabilities must fill out an application that requires a medical doctor or mental health professional’s certification. You can find this application here.
