Residents of other/non-millage paying areas of the county can schedule rides when DATA is already going to be in their area

Standard Fare

Standard Fare for City Residents of Escanaba and Gladstone plus Residents of Bay de Noc, Bark River, Brampton, Ensign, Escanaba, Ford River, and Masonville Townships:

• Up to 5 miles:  $2.00
• 5 to 10 miles: $4.00
• 10 to 20 miles:  $6.00
• 20 to 40 miles: $8.00
• 40 to 60 miles:  $10.00

Standard Fare for Residents living in other/non-millage paying areas (can schedule rides when DATA is already going to be in their area).

• Up to 5 miles:  $6.00
• 5 to 10 miles:  $12.00
• 10 to 20 miles:  $18.00
• 20 to 40 miles:  $24.00

Reduced Fare

Reduced Fare for City Residents of Escanaba and Gladstone plus Residents of Bay de Noc, Bark River, Brampton, Ensign, Escanaba, Ford River, and Masonville Townships:

Up to 5 miles:  $1.00
5 to 10 miles: $2.00
10 to 20 miles:  $3.00
20 to 40 miles: $4.00
40 to 60 miles:  $5.00

Reduced Fare for Residents living in other/non-millage paying areas (can schedule rides when DATA is already going to be in their area):

5 to 10 miles:  $6.00
10 to 20 miles:  $9.00
20 to 40 miles:  $12.00

Reduced Fare is available for:

• Seniors (60+)
• Persons with Disabilities
• Students K-12 and College Students (to and from school only)
• Veterans (with proper ID or DD-214)

Children under the age of 5 ride free when accompanied by a fare paying adult.

Paratransit/Reduced Fare Eligibility

There is no complementary paratransit for this service because it is a door-to-door, demand response service, not fixed route. Many DATA vehicles are lift equipped and accessible to wheelchair users or other mobility device users. Please notify the dispatcher if this service is needed.

Seniors, Veterans, and Students with valid IDs may receive reduced fare rates by showing applicable identification. Individuals with disabilities must fill out an application that requires a medical doctor or mental health professional’s certification. You can find this application here.
