Veterans ride FREE for VA (Veterans Association) approved non-emergency medical trips in and outside Charlevoix County
Accessibility & Eligibility
Paratransit/Reduced Fare Eligibility
This service does not have complementary paratransit because it is a door-to-door service, not fixed route. It is accessible to people with disabilities or mobility challenges as well as being open to the general public.
Per the reduced fare application, senior citizens (60+), individuals with Medicare, or “Mobility Disabled Person” are eligible. A list of included and excluded conditions follows. Requires licensed physicians signature on application and an attached “Letter of Diagnosis” written by physician on professional letterhead.
Transit Service Accessibility
This is a curb-to-curb service and buses are lift/ramp equipped. Service is accessible to those with disabilities as well as being open to the general public.
