SATA Dial-A-Ride Service

- Monday – Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 pm
- Extended hours in Cities of Owosso and Corunna, and Caledonia and Owosso Townships: Monday – Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 pm
- No service on Saturday, Sunday, or Holidays
Method/Rules for Scheduling a Ride
Call 989-729-2687 or 1-877-667-7100 (toll free) Monday – Friday between the hours of 7:00 am and 6:00 pm to reserve your ride.
Reservation Policy:
- Priority will be given to callers on a “first-call, first–serve” basis; however, SATA recommends that you schedule your rides as soon as you know that you will need them.
- Residents of non-participating governmental units may only schedule rides on the day before or the day of the requested trip reservation.

Standard Fare
Fares are calculated by riders’ place of residence and whether their local government unit is a SATA participant (Not origin or destination address).
$3.00 regular one-way fare for residents of participating areas::

- Caledonia Twp
- Middlebury Twp
- New Haven Twp
- Owosso Twp
- Shiawassee Twp
- Venice Twp
- Vemon Twp
$9.00 regular one-way fare for residents of all other (non-participating) cities/townships of Shiawassee County.
Reduced Fare
Reduced fare available for:
- Seniors (60+)
- People with Disabilities
- Ages 18 and younger

Accessibility & Eligibility
Paratransit/Reduced Fare Eligibility
This service does not have complementary paratransit because it is a curb-to-curb demand response service, not fixed route. All SATA vehicles are lift/ramp equipped for wheelchair or other mobility device users.
Persons with disabilities must submit the SATA Application for Reduced Fare. This application requires verification of a qualifying disability by a physician, healthcare or rehabilitation professional, or the submission of documentation that verifies a qualifying disability (letter from SSI, SSDI, Michigan DHS, or copy of Medicare card).
Age eligible individuals may show picture ID to receive reduced fare when riding.
Transit Service Accessibility
This is a curb-to-curb demand response service and all SATA vehicles are lift/ramp equipped for wheelchair or other mobility device users. This service is accessible for individuals with disabilities as well as open to the general public.
Additional Notes
Fares for residents of the participating local governmental units include: Cities of Corunna, Durand, Laingsburg, Owosso, Perry & the Townships of Bennington, Caledonia, New Haven, Owosso, Shiawassee, Venice, and Vernon.
Cities and Townships not listed are considered “non-participating”.
