Method/Rules for Scheduling a RideI-Ride Route Services have posted stop locations and schedules. Rides do not need to be scheduled in advance. Deviated or “flex” stops within 1/4 of a mile of a route may be requested on trips or called in, in advance.

Fares
Standard Fare
There is NO FARE collected at posted bus stops and apartment complex stops as they are prepaid by contracts with partners.
Regular fare for flex stops only:
Adults (ages 18-59): $2.00 per flex stop
or
- $65/44 ride punch pass
- $33/22 ride punch pass
Reduced Fare
There is NO FARE collected at posted bus stops and apartment complex stops as they are prepaid by contracts with partners.
Reduced fare for flex stops only:
Youth (ages 17 & under): $1.50 per stop
or
$50/44 ride punch pass
$25/22 ride punch pass
Senior (60+) or Persons with Disabilities: $1.00 per stop
or
$35/44 ride punch pass
$18/22 ride punch pass
Seniors (80+): FREE

Accessibility & Eligibility
Paratransit/Reduced Fare Eligibility
There is no complementary paratransit for this service. Those who are unable to use I-Ride Route Service due to a disability or mobility challenges may use I-Ride Dial-A-Ride services. Please see I-Ride Dial-A-Ride for more information. All I-Ride buses, including shuttle/route buses are lift or ramp equipped for wheelchair or other mobility device users. Riders using I-Ride Route Service may also request stops within 1/4 of a mile from the posted routes.
Seniors and youth may show appropriate identification to receive reduced fare. Individuals with disabilities may verify disability through a MDHHS or Social Security statement to receive an I-Ride reduced fare card. There is no formal application to receive disability reduced fare.
Seniors who are 80 years old or above may contact the Commission on Aging Activity Center at (989) 772-0748 to obtain a pass for free I-Ride rides.
