Flint MTA Your Ride Paratransit Service

- Sunday 7:00am – 7:30pm
Work-Related Service
- Anytime 7 days a week
Call Your Ride 7 days in advance. Calls should be received no later than 2:00 p.m. on the day before your scheduled trip. For Saturday, Sunday or Monday trips, call before 2:00 p.m. on the Friday before that weekend.
Make all your arrangements through your local service center. (A list of local service centers can be viewed at https://www.mtaflint.org/your-ride/. Call after 5 p.m. the day before to confirm your ride.
Subscription service is available for passengers who make the same trip on a regular basis.

Operating Area
Your Ride curb to curb is available throughout all of Genesee County.
Your Ride transportation is provided through local service centers. There are eleven Your Ride Service Centers throughout Genesee County, each working to serve the transportation needs of residents in the surrounding service area.
Regardless of where you want to travel in Genesee County, the service center nearest to you home will arrange the trip. You may plan a trip within you local service area, or you may travel to a different service area.

Fares
Standard Fare
General Public: $3.50
*This service is primarily for individuals with disabilities and seniors who are unable to use MTA Flint’s fixed routes due to disability or mobility issues. “General Public” refers only to those people under the age of 65 or without disabilities when fixed route services are not available to them. People with an ADA certification/ADA card are given first priority for Your Ride trips.
Monthly Your Ride passes are not available to the general public.
Reduced Fare
Reduced Fare: $2.25
Available for:
- Seniors (65+)
- Medicare Cardholders
- ADA Certified Persons with Disabilities
For work trips between 11:30 p.m. and
6:30 a.m. there is a $5.00 fare
Monthly (60 ride) Your Ride reduced fare passes: $40.00
Accessibility & Eligibility
Paratransit/Reduced Fare Eligibility
Paratransit (Your Ride) is available for people who are unable to use the Flint MTA Fixed Route service. If you are unable to use fixed route service due to a disability or mobility issue, you must apply for ADA certification to use Your Ride paratransit service. This application asks for a health care or rehabilitation professional who is familiar with your disability’s contact information for verification purposes. You can find this application here.
Seniors (65+) and Medicare Cardholders may show their identification or a Medicare card to receive reduced fare for Your Ride services.
Individuals with disabilities must complete the MTA Eligibility Card Application to be eligible for a reduced fare card when using Your Ride. (Please note, this is a separate application from the ADA Certification application). This application requires a portion of the form to be filled out by a health or agency professional and additional information describing the individual’s disability to be submitted on a doctor’s script or letterhead of the agency.
Transit Service Accessibility
MTA Flint Your Ride paratransit service is door-to-door/curb-to-curb service. All Your Ride vehicles are lift equipped and accessible to individuals with disabilities.
