DRM provides training and outreach to empower people with disabilities themselves in gaining self-determination, independence, productivity, and community inclusion.
DRM conducts training and outreach both individually and through collaboration with other stakeholders. We organize standalone events, participate as presenters in conferences or virtual sessions, and staff information tables.
DRM provides training and outreach in most cases at no charge. We usually ask for a minimum number of 15 pre-registered participants to conduct a training or outreach event.

Training and Outreach will further the goals identified in the agency’s current focus areas. DRM also provides training and outreach in response to public issues that broadly affect the rights of people with disabilities.
