Michigan Protection & Advocacy Service, Inc. (MPAS) public policy activities operate within the guidelines of applicable laws. In an effort to protect and advance the rights of people with disabilities, MPAS provides analysis, factual information and educational materials related to public policy that impacts the lives of people with disabilities at the local, state and national levels.  Activities in this arena are non-partisan and may include working in concert with other disability organizations to promote opportunities for people with disabilities to have access to the services and supports needed in order to be successfully integrated into the fabric of society.
